In 2007, Bengi Altug graduated from Marmara University, Faculty of Fine Arts, Department of Interior Design. In 2010, Bengi got involved in the master's program of art and design on the computer at Mimar Sinan University. During her studies, Bengi participated in many exhibitions and workshops and, at the same time, she started to work on concept design and design development in an architectural office.

During all this time, she has created Abstract Painting works, improving herself in the field of painting. She works mostly with acrylic paints and uses mixed techniques. Her works are mostly based on expressing emotions.

Some of her works are about making the spectator feel by being guided by emotions in order to strengthen the atmosphere specific to the place. Mostly, her work reflects her own experiences and the depth and message of this story. It aims to evoke and remind the spectator of the visually powerful effects that work with strong themes through the synthesis of different ideas or with emotion enhanced by harmony.

She is working on art and at the same time, she is working for different companies and in different disciplines. In addition to her painting work, she has been working on product design which contributes to the space that connects art and design with experience. Following her graduation, she has worked as a designer and project manager for architectural and design companies. Bengi Altug has been working as a Senior Designer at Hirsch Bedner Associates since 2016.
